Upper Newport Bay Nature Preserve offers a range of outdoor activities in a beautiful setting. These include bird-watching (it is a major Southern California coastal estuary), jogging, biking, hiking, kayaking and horseback riding. It also is home to the OC Parks-Peter and Mary Muth Interpretive Center, which features exhibits and interactive displays on the bay’s many natural resources.
